Banana bread is the perfect comfort food and any level of baker can achieve a nice loaf. Most banana bread recipes out there vary slightly, from the type of fat introduced to whether it utilizes granulated sugar or a bit of brown sugar, but there are a few key universal steps that apply when making banana bread. For delicious banana bread, make sure that you use super ripe bananas. The best bananas for banana bread have a few or a lot of brown spots on the peel. If your bananas need some help ripening, put them in the oven with the peel on for a few minutes at 300 degrees.
